The present invention relates to an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus which displays a reference image regarding an object received from the outside, with an ultrasound image on one screen, and to a method for displaying an ultrasound image thereof. The ultrasound diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention can receive a video input from an external medical imaging device in real time, and can display a real-time reference image on a screen by using the received video input. In addition, the ultrasound diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention can be configured to enable a user to control all of the ultrasound diagnosis apparatus and the external medical imaging device by using a control panel included in the ultrasound diagnosis apparatus.
