PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal-plane shutter that obtains desired exposure operation even when charge speed by a setting component becomes fast, and increases frame speed of continuous shooting to enable the continuous shooting at high speed.SOLUTION: A focal-plane shutter comprises: a front blade 30; a front blade driving component 50; a rear blade 40; a rear blade driving component 60; and a setting component 70, and the front blade driving component 50 includes a main driving component 51 in which the setting component is engaged to resist urging force and set at a setting position before shutter operation, and a driven component 55 that is coupled with the front blade and urged to follow the main driving component to be set at the setting position. The focal-plane shutter further comprises a regulation mechanism 80 that operates to regulate following of the driven component 55 under a predetermined condition in setting operation by the setting component, and an auxiliary mechanism (leaf spring 52, contact part 56) is provided for supporting following of the driven component when the main driving component moves to the setting position in a non-operation state of the regulation mechanism. Thus, continuous shooting at high speed becomes possible. |
