PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation circuit that allows reducing the possibility of destruction of an electronic element such as a variable capacitance element during a test such as an overdrive test or a drive level test, and to provide an oscillator, a method of manufacturing the oscillator, an electronic apparatus, and a moving body.SOLUTION: An oscillation circuit 2 includes an XO terminal, an XI terminal, an oscillation section 10, and a voltage generation circuit 20 generating a first voltage (control voltage) and a second voltage (V). The oscillation section 10 includes a variable capacitance element 16 having one end connected to the XO terminal or the XI terminal. In a first mode, a signal having a first amplitude is applied between the XO terminal and the XI terminal, and a first voltage is applied to the other end of the variable capacitance element 16. In a second mode, a signal having a second amplitude larger than the first amplitude is applied between the XO terminal and the XI terminal, and a second voltage is applied to the other end of the variable capacitance element 16. The voltage across the variable capacitance element 16 is lower than the maximum rating voltage of the variable capacitance element 16. |
