PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs of an exhaust emission control system by making a piping distance of a bypass passage 32 bypassing selective catalyst reduction devices 34, 35 as short as possible.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control system for a ship 1 puts exhaust passages 30 of a plurality of engines 25 mounted on the ship 1 together into one collective passage 80. The exhaust emission control system includes: as the collective passage 80, a main passage 31 communicating with outside; a bypass passage 32 branching off from a halfway part of the main passage 31; and a composite casing 33 which constitutes a part of the main passage 31 and the bypass passage 32. Route switching members 37, 38 which switch an exhaust emission moving direction into the main passage 31 and the bypass passage 32 are arranged at a branch part between the main passage 31 and the bypass passage 32. Selective catalyst reduction devices 34, 35 which accelerate reduction of NOx in the exhaust emission of the engine 25 are housed in the composite casing 33 at the side of the main passage 31. |
