PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell that maintains an electrolyte membrane in a desired humid condition and that effectively prevents deterioration of the electrolyte membrane and the like.SOLUTION: In a fuel cell 10, a membrane electrode assembly 12, an anode-side separator 14, and a cathode-side separator 16 are laminated. In a surface 14a of the anode-side separator 14, water inlet continuous holes 44a communicate with respective water outlet continuous holes 44b through respective vertical humidifying/cleaning water passages 46aR and 46aL that extend in a direction of an arrow C. Respective upper sides of the vertical water passages 46aR and 46aL communicate with each other through a horizontal humidifying/cleaning water passage 46bU. Respective lower sides of the vertical water passages 46aR and 46aL communicate with each other through a horizontal humidifying/cleaning water passage 46bD. |
