PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic fiber aggregate using organic binders generating no irritating odor of formaldehyde, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an inorganic fiber aggregate comprises the steps of: aggregating inorganic fibers 12 and partially adhering binders 16 including a saccharide and a polyisocyanate to between filaments of the inorganic fibers 12; and heating the inorganic fibers 12 having the binders 16 adhered thereto to a cross-linking temperature at which the saccharide is cross-linked by the polyisocyanate and partially bonding between the filaments by using the cross-linked binders 16. |
