PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plant growth culture medium in which plants (for example, fruit vegetables, root vegetables and the like) can be grown efficiently in a limited space.SOLUTION: Plant growth culture medium 100 including plural kinds of artificial soil particles 50 includes: guide floors 2 which include first artificial soil particles 50a having water retention capability of more than a predetermined value and electric conductivity of less than a predetermined value, and which guide the extension direction of roots 21 of a plant 20; and a growth floor 3 which includes second artificial soil particles 50b having less water retention capability and higher electric conductivity than the first artificial soil particles 50a, and which promotes the growth of the roots 21 of the plant 20. The guide floors 2 are arranged locally on the surface side of the growth floor 3 in the state of being exposed. |
