PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage system having excellent performance such as stability.SOLUTION: A power storage system comprises: a natural energy conversion unit for generating power from natural energy; a power conversion unit including a control circuit and a circuit which is controlled by the control circuit and generates power to be supplied to a load and power to be supplied to the control circuit from output of the natural energy conversion unit; a power supply source including at least one of a power storage battery and commercial power system; and an upper level control circuit for performing control so that power is supplied from the power supply source to the control circuit when the output of the natural energy conversion unit is within an unstable region between a first value at which the control circuit starts start-up and a second value which is larger than the first value and ensures the start-up of the control circuit. |
