PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption by curbing a reduction in data processing performance.SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises: a plurality of storage devices which respectively store data; a plurality of first information processing devices which respectively have first processing capacity; a plurality of second information processing devices which respectively have second processing capacity higher than the first processing capacity; and a switching device which connects any of the plurality of first information processing devices to any of the plurality of storage devices on the basis of connection information, allows the first information processing device connected to any of the plurality of the storage devices to allocate the data to be processed in the plurality of storage devices, connects the plurality of storage devices with allocated data stored therein to any of the plurality of second information processing devices on the basis of the connection information after finishing allocation of the data, and allows the connected second information processing device to process the allocated data. |
