<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wheel support rolling bearing unit which can effectively prevent the generation of an impression at an outer ring raceway 13b of an axial inside row while suppressing the lowering of moment rigidity.SOLUTION: A plurality of flange pieces 14a to 14d constituting a stationary-side flange 12a are constituted of support arm parts 30a to 30d which extend to the outside of a radial direction from an external peripheral face of an outer ring main body 11, attachment parts 31 formed at tips of the support arm parts 30a to 30d, and attachment holes 16 screwed with bolts formed at the attachment parts 31. Then, a thickness dimension related to axial directions of the support arm parts 30a to 30d is made larger than a thickness dimension related to circumferential directions, and a deformation permission space 32 is formed at a portion between the outer ring main body 11 and the attachment parts 31 related to a diameter direction of the outer ring 6a in a state of adjoining the support arm parts 30a to 30d in the circumferential directions. Internal end faces in the axial direction of the attachment parts 31 are located at the most axial inside out of the flange pieces 14a to 14d.</p> |
