<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of easily selecting a setting item when packet communication is not possible in a facsimile device capable of packet communication.SOLUTION: The facsimile device includes a facsimile communication unit, an NIC, a display unit, and a control unit. The facsimile communication unit performs facsimile communication through a PSTN. The NIC performs packet communication through a LAN, an IP network, or the like. The display unit displays at least a setting item related to the packet communication. When the packet communication is not possible, the control unit changes the display mode of a predetermined setting item related to the packet communication or causes the setting item not to be displayed, so as to perform control not to receive an instruction to select the setting item.</p> |
