<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head that reduces possibility of occurrence of a wrinkle in an ink ribbon.SOLUTION: A thermal head X1 includes: a substrate 7; a heating part 9 provided on the substrate 7; and an electrode 19 that is provided on the substrate 7 and electrically connected with the heating part 9, and the electrode 19 has a first area 19a whose width becomes narrower toward the heating part 9, and a second area 19b that is positioned at the heating part 9 side from the first area 19a and whose width becomes narrower toward the heating part 9, and a tilt of the edge of the electrode 19 positioned at the second area 19b with respect to a sub-scanning direction is smaller than a tilt of the edge of the electrode 19 positioned at the first area 19a with respect to the sub-scanning direction.</p> |
