<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent engine trouble of a portable power fire pump caused by forgetting to return a choke of the engine. <P>SOLUTION: The portable power fire pump is equipped with a drive pulley 14 to be driven by the engine 2, a driven pulley 15 attached to a drive shaft of a vacuum pump, a belt 20 hung on the drive pulley and driven pulley, and a tension pulley 19 that is supported by a tension lever and moves between the position to tense the belt 20 and the position to loosen the belt 20 in order to switch the drive/stop of the vacuum pump. A choke valve return mechanism is installed, the mechanism transmitting to a choke valve of a carburetor 4 the displacement of the tension pulley occurring in the process for displacing the tension pulley 19 to the position to tense the belt 20 when driving the vacuum pump, to compulsively return the choke valve to the full open position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
