<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of enhancing the reliability of reception data. <P>SOLUTION: A high-speed terminal 2 transmits a transmission signal TxH obtained by modulating symbol data X<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-X<SB POS="POST">n</SB>into N sub carriers. A master terminal 4, when receiving the transmission signal TxH, digitizes a reception signal RxH at a sampling frequency fsH for high-speed communication. On the other hand, a low-speed terminal 3 modulates the symbol data X<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-X<SB POS="POST">m</SB>into M sub carriers, here, M is smaller than N. In addition, to these sub carriers, symbol data Xa<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-Xa<SB POS="POST">m</SB>or Xb<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-Xb<SB POS="POST">m</SB>having the same phase as or a reverse phase of the symbol data X<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-X<SB POS="POST">m</SB>are modulated into high-frequency side sub carriers to be a folding noise at a sampling frequency fsL for low-speed communication.
