1. A data transmission method in a network linked with a heterogeneous system, the method comprising:
transmitting downlink data to a terminal device using a first communication network; and delivering, in response to a network transition request from the terminal device, control information used to connect the terminal device to a second communication network, to the terminal device using a channel associated with the first communication network while maintaining the transmitting of the downlink data using the second communication network differing from the first communication network.
