<p>Disclosed are a method and device for adjusting the volume, which belong to the field of communications and multimedia. The method comprises: acquiring environment sound data of an environment where an apparatus is located, the environment sound data comprising at least one of the following three, i.e. level, timbre and tone of an environment sound of the environment where the apparatus is located; according to the environment sound data, using a correlation between the learnt environment sound data and the volume size to acquire a first volume size; and according to the first volume size, automatically adjusting the playing volume of the apparatus. The device comprises: a first acquisition module, a second acquisition module and an adjustment module. By means of the present invention, by way of acquiring a first volume size through acquired environment sound data of an environment where an apparatus is located, and adjusting the playing volume of the apparatus according to the first volume size, the efficiency of volume adjustment is improved.</p> |
