A light guide element comprising: a light guide plate (1); a light source (15) arranged on one side of a light incident face of the light guide plate (1); and a first curved diffuse reflection face (2) arranged opposite a light exit face of the light guide plate (1) and used for diffusely reflecting light exited from the light guide plate (1). The light guide element uses the light guide plate (1) as a transmission medium for the light source (15), the light exited from the surface of the light guide plate (1) is scattered by the first curved diffuse reflection face (2), and the first curved diffuse reflection face (2) extends to a diffusion plate (6) on the upper layer to create an optical cavity formed by the light guide plate (1), the first curved diffuse reflection face (2) and the diffusion plate (6), thus, the light emitted by the light guide plate (1) can be propagated within the optical cavity only, so as to reduce light crosstalk in a direct-lit backlight source mode.
