<p>The invention relates to a method for operating a drive train of a vehicle (50) that can be driven by means of two primary, preferably electric drive machines (EM1, EM2), in which method the prospective temperatures of electrical components are predicted and the drive train is operated in accordance with the predicted temperatures. In order to reduce the amount of cooling equipment involved in a vehicle having multiple electric drive machines, according to the invention a driving route is selected, the prospective load and/or load duration of at least two electric drive machines (EM1, EM2) is predicted along said driving route and at least one operating mode for the electric drive machines (EM1, EM2) is selected in accordance with said prediction, and the drive machines are operated using an activation and deactivation strategy in such a way that an optimal operating temperature range and/or efficiency is maintained for the electric machines (EM1, EM2) during a selected driving route.</p> |
