METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC MODELING OF CABLE WAY AND RECORDING MATERIAL THEREOF

The present invention relates to a method for automatically modeling a cable way and a recording medium having the same recorded therein, wherein modeling of a cable way can be automatically and continuously performed according to the characteristics of an electric component and surrounding environments. The method comprises the steps of: (a) searching a pathway for automatically modeling a cable way; (b) treating a connection with a pathway before a current pathway starting position based on the searched pathway; (c) searching an electric component by searching a space after step (b); and (d) automatically modeling a cable way by generating a pathway according to the characteristics of the searched electric component. By using the direction and component characteristics of non-continuous components and the characteristics of peripheral components, a node constituting a cable way and a pathway are automatically formed, and the cable way can be continuously generated using a graph algorithm, thereby reducing a design error and saving resources consumed in manually performing node and pathway automatic modeling.
