According to the present invention, disclosed are a method and a system for inspecting glass quality. The method for inspecting glass quality according to the present invention includes: an image obtaining step of obtaining a glass image; an image converting step of dismantling the image to a sub-image of a multi-level after executing wavelet conversion of the image; a detection step of detecting pixels, which exceed a threshold value as an error pixel after checking whether each line value of the dismantled sub-image exceeds the threshold value; and a determination step of counting the number of error pixels which are adjacent to each other and connected to each other and determining whether the glass has fair quality or poor quality, depending on the number of the counted error pixels, which exceed the threshold value.
