SYSTEMS, IMPLANTS, TOOLS, AND METHODS FOR TREATMENTS OF PELVIC CONDITIONS

The current application discloses a multi-functional tool suitable for implanting a pelvic implant suitable in treatment of conditions such as incontinence or prolapse such as a sacral colpopexy. The tool is designed to reduce tissue trauma and as such must be able to navigate around critical anatomy during the pelvic implantation of tissue anchors which typically hold a sling in place. The tool must also be capable of performing a series of other tasks including illuminating a surgical site, transmitting images of a surgical site to the surgeon, dissecting tissue, distending tissue and delivering or removing fluid.
