PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server configured to control the number of users waiting for a service provided from the server within a predetermined range, a control method thereof, and a control program thereof.SOLUTION: A server 3 includes a storage unit 32 which stores user information on a plurality of users who are provided with service, the maximum simultaneous provision number which indicates the maximum number of users who can be provided with the service simultaneously, standby information including the number of users waiting for the service and rank thereof, and an upper limit threshold of the number of users included in the standby information. A control method of the server 3 includes the steps of: providing service to terminals of users equal to or less than the maximum simultaneous provision number, according to service provision requests from the user terminals; adding user information on a user of a terminal when the number of users provided with the service is equal to or larger than the maximum simultaneous provision number and a service provision request is received from a terminal which is not provided with the service; and increasing the maximum simultaneous provision number when the number of users included in the standby information exceeds the upper limit threshold. |
