PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from feeling a lag when shifting from an EV travel to an HV travel.SOLUTION: In a hybrid vehicle 10, when shifting from an EV travel in which the vehicle travels using power of a rotary electric machine (a motor-generator MG) with a first coupling element (a first clutch 210) disengaged to an HV travel in which the vehicle travels using power of an engine 200 with the first coupling element (a first clutch 210) engaged, a transmission 230 is shifted up by a control device 100 simultaneously with the engagement of the first coupling element (a first clutch 210).
