PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system that enables a user of a communication terminal to easily obtain an article of a magazine from an advertisement medium.SOLUTION: An information providing system comprises: a content providing server for providing an article of a magazine as data; an advertisement medium that is run on a newspaper or a webpage and that presents content identification information corresponding to the headline of each article or each article which the content providing server is able to provide; a communication terminal for transmitting a download request of an article corresponding to input content identification information when the content identification information presented by the advertisement medium is input; and a content management server for obtaining data on the article indicated by the download request transmitted by the communication terminal from the content providing server, and for transmitting it to the communication terminal via a network. The communication terminal displays the head line of each article and/or the content identification information in a state of a link being attached on a screen, and transmits a download request of an article corresponding to a tapped headline when the headline of the article displayed on the screen is tapped. |
