<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a straight substantially tubular body or a substantially rod-like body having a slit in the longitudinal direction, in a wave shape without buckling the slit side.SOLUTION: A wavy handrail formation device forms a wavy handrail by bending the straight substantially tubular body or the substantially rod-like body having the slit in the longitudinal direction in a wave shape, and is provided with a plurality of fixed rolls provided in a juxtaposed state in a row at a predetermined interval in the same plane, a plurality of driving rolls respectively provided in an opposed position at a predetermined interval from respective intermediate positions of the adjacent fixed rolls among the plurality of fixed rolls in the same plane as the fixed rolls and a plurality of hydraulic devices for respectively pressing the driving rolls toward the intermediate position of the fixed rolls, and the outer periphery of the fixed rolls and the driving rolls is recessed, and a projection strip fitted in the slit is provided in a ring shape in a central part of at least one outer periphery of the fixed rolls and the driving rolls.</p> |
