<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card read mechanism integrated input device in which a plurality of cards can easily be used selectively in online shopping or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An input device includes a card read unit which is integrated inside and reads a plurality of card type recording media, a plurality of shortcut buttons mounted in an outer portion of the input device, a card information storage unit which correspondingly stores a plurality of card information items read by the card read unit and the shortcut buttons, and an interface unit which reads corresponding card information from the card information storage unit in response to depressing any one of the plurality of shortcut buttons, and transmits the read card information to a host device connected to the input device. Furthermore, the card read unit includes a first slot for inserting a first card type recording medium and a second slot for inserting a second card type recording medium, thereby selectively using the cards. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
