1. A method of supporting and cooling an electronic device with at least one air vent on a vent area of the device, the method comprising:
positioning a portion of the edge of the device with the at least one air vent on a support cradle, the support cradle extending from a housing that encloses an internal fan system; aligning the device so that the at least one air vent is aligned with an air exchange opening on the support cradle and a surface of the device engages with an air seal adjacent the air exchange opening on the support cradle; and activating the fan to increase an amount of air flow across the air exchange opening and across the at least one air vent of the device to increase an amount of air exchange within the device.
