The invention relates to a flexible catheter (1) comprising a driveshaft (2), a sleeve (6) surrounding the driveshaft (2), and a sheath (7) surrounding the sleeve (6) and the driveshaft (2), wherein the driveshaft, the sleeve (6), and the sheath (7) are flexible, wherein the driveshaft (2) has a coupling element (5) on a proximal end of the driveshaft (2) for connecting the driveshaft (2) to a drive motor (18), wherein the driveshaft (2) consists at least in certain areas of an alloy which contains at least 10% proportion by weight of chromium, nickel, and cobalt respectively. The invention further relates to a blood pump arrangement having a catheter of this type. |
