PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous determination of read data by suppressing leak current of a non-selected memory cell while suppressing an increase in current consumption by a simple circuit configuration in a circuit device which supplies a power supply potential to a word line driver for driving the word lines connected to a plurality of memory cells.SOLUTION: A circuit device includes: a transistor electrically connected between a first node and a second node; and a bootstrap circuit which is electrically connected to the second node and generates a second power supply potential to be supplied to a source of an N channel transistor of a word line driver by lowering a first power supply potential supplied from the first node to the second node.
