PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge capable of improving detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A development cartridge 1 comprises: a housing 2 for housing toner inside; an agitator 3 rotating with respect to the housing 2; a detection gear 72 having a detected part 87 and a detection contact part 89; and an agitator gear 71 having the contact plate 82. The agitator 3 is provided with: an agitator axis 112 supporting an agitator 71 in a left end part; and an agitation blade 115 supported by the agitator axis 112 and being elastically deformable. During the rotation of the agitator 71, the contact plate 82 is made to contact with the detection contact part 89 to move the detection gear 72 from an initial position to a drive transmission position. When the agitation blade 115 is separated from the housing 2, the agitator gear 71 is made to contact with the detection gear 72 located at the drive transmission position to transmit drive force to the detection gear 72. |
