PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement swash plate type compressor capable of exhibiting sufficient controllability, sufficiently supporting thrust force, and capable of shortening an axis.SOLUTION: In a compressor of this invention, a cylinder chamber 51a, and first and second guide surfaces 54a and 54b are formed with respect to a lug plate 51. Inner peripheral edges 541 and 542 of the first and the second guide surfaces 54a and 54b are formed by the cylinder chamber 51a, and the first and the second guide surfaces 54a and 54b are overlapped with the cylinder chamber 51a. In the compressor, when an angle of inclination of a swash plate 5 is at the maximum value, first and second guided surface 520 and 521 are respectively brought into line contact with the first and the second guide surfaces 54a and 54b at a first position P1. First and second sliding widths S1 and S2 at that time are the maximum widths. When the angle of inclination is at the minimum value, the first and the second guided surfaces 520 and 521 are respectively brought into line contact with the first and the second guide surfaces 54a and 54b at a second position P2. The first and the second sliding widths S1 and S2 at that time is the minimum widths. |
