<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an autofocus adjustment device and control method of the autofocus adjustment device that suppress reduction in frame velocity even with subject luminance low, and enable in-focus continuous shootings.SOLUTION: An autofocus adjustment device including a phase difference type focus detection sensor and a lens drive part driving a focus adjustment lens group comprises: a mode selection part that selects any mode of a release priority mode stopping the lens drive part regardless of a positions of the focus adjustment lens group by the lens drive part and performing a photograph control of an image sensor, a focus priority mode performing the photograph control of the image sensor when the focus adjustment lens group is moved to an in-focus position by the lens drive part, and an auto selection mode automatically changing over the release priority mode and the focus priority mode; and an integral control part that, when the auto selection mode is selected by the mode selection part and a photograph control part implements a continuous shooting in a continuous shooting mode, sets a longest integral time of the focus detection sensor longer than that in the release priority mode and shorter than that in the focus priority mode.</p> |
