PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a motor to be stably and efficiently driven even during high-speed rotation.SOLUTION: A motor control device 1 for controlling driving of an AC motor M includes: a voltage command value calculation unit 11 configured to calculate a voltage command value V1; a voltage limit value generation unit 12 configured to generate an efficient voltage limit value Vlimit substantially maximizing power conversion efficiency &eegr; in accordance with driving characteristics of the motor M; and a subtractor 15, a voltage limiting unit 13, and an adder 14 configured to adjust a d-axis current Id on the basis of deviation between the efficient voltage limit value Vlimit and the voltage command value V1. The voltage limit value generation unit 12 is configured to generate the efficient voltage control value Vlimit on the basis of a voltage limit value map in which correlation between a torque command Tref as well as a motor rotational speed ω, which are parameters relating to the output of the motor M, and the efficient voltage limit value Vlimit substantially maximizing the power conversion efficiency &eegr; in accordance with the parameters is stored. |
