<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material obtained by sintering aluminum particles with fine ceramic particles and increased in mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A ceramic particle-dispersed aluminum composite material is obtained by sintering a mixture of particles of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and ceramic particles; the average particle size of the ceramic particles is 2.9μm or smaller, excluding 0μm; the average particle size of the particles of aluminum or the aluminum alloy is 1.9 times or smaller than, excluding 0 time, that of the ceramic particles; and the ceramic particles occupy 8-60 vol.% of the whole of the composite material.</p> |
