<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely form a center hole by accurately adjusting a position of a hole boring tool so as to correspond to an end surface center by a simple configuration, even when a cross section profile of a shaft portion of a workpiece is not a circular as being supposed. <P>SOLUTION: A device for forming a center hole includes: jigs 1, 2 for holding the shaft portion of the workpiece W; the hole boring tool for boring a hole in an axial direction at the center Wc of the shaft portion of the workpiece W; slide mechanisms 3, 4 for supporting the jigs 1, 2 so as to be slidable in Y direction for opening and closing relative to the shaft portion of the workpiece W and in X direction orthogonal to the Y direction; a slide amount measuring mechanism for measuring each of the slide amounts x1 and x2, and y1 and y2 of the jigs 1, 2 in the X and Y directions when holding the shaft portion of the workpiece W; and a correcting mechanism for calculating a correction amount of the relative position of the hole boring tool relative to the end surface center Wc of the shaft portion of the workpiece W based on each of the slide amounts x1 and x2, and y1 and y2 of the jigs 1, 2 measured by the slide amount measuring mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
