1. A storage system comprising:
a plurality of storage devices; and a storage controller comprising a memory and a processor, configured to perform inputting/outputting data to/from the plurality of storage devices; wherein the storage controller is configured to store management information in the memory, which is related to perform inputting/outputting data to/from the plurality of storage devices, wherein the storage controller is configured to comprise a secondary power source for supplying power to the memory and the processor when supply of power from a primary power source is shut off, wherein the storage controller is configured to store the management information, which is stored in the memory, in at least one of the plurality of storage devices as a base image, wherein, upon updating the management information subsequent to the base image being stored in at least one of the plurality of storage devices, the storage controller is configured to create a journal including information related to the update, and to store a plurality of journals in at least one of the plurality of storage devices as a journal group, wherein the management information is configured to include at least one of mapping information related to relationship between logical address and physical address of data stored in the plurality of storage devices, volume information related to a logical volume provided by at least one of the plurality of storage devices, RAID group information related to RAID group configured by at least one of the plurality of storage devices, and device information related to the plurality of storage devices, wherein, when supply of power from the primary power source is shut off, the storage controller is configured to transfer a certain journal stored in the memory to at least one of the plurality of storage devices by using the supply of power from the secondary power source. |
