The purpose of the present invention is to provide a holographic microscope that can be implemented as both a transmission type and a reflection type microscope and is capable of exceeding the resolution of a conventional optical microscope, a method for acquiring hologram data for a high-resolution image, and a method for reproducing a high-resolution hologram. An in-line spherical wave reference beam (L) is recorded in a hologram (ILR) using a spherical wave reference beam (R), an object is illuminated using illumination light (Qj, j = 1, ⋅⋅, N) from different incidence directions, and object light (Oj) and the illumination light (Qj) are recorded in a hologram (Ij OQR) using the spherical wave reference beam (R). A hologram (Jj OQL) from which the component of the reference beam (R) is removed is generated from these holograms, and a light wave (hj) is generated from the hologram (Jj OQL). A light wave (cj) of the illumination light (Qj) is separated from the light wave (hj), a phase-adjusted reproduction light wave is calculated using the phase component (ξj = cj / |cj|) of the light wave (cj), and all the phase-adjusted reproduction light waves are summed (HP = ∑ hj / ξj) and thus the image of the object (SP = |HP|2) is reproduced. |
