[Problem] To provide a capacitor that has a terminal layout that is suited to mounting on a mounting target. [Solution] This capacitor has a dielectric layer, a first conductor layer, a second conductor layer, first internal electrodes, second internal electrodes, a first external-electrode electrode layer, a second external-electrode electrode layer, a first external electrode, and a second external electrode. The dielectric layer is provided with a plurality of through-holes that connect to a first principal surface and a second principal surface. The first internal electrodes each comprise an electrically conductive material, are formed inside the aforementioned through-holes, and are connected to the first conductor layer. The second internal electrodes each comprise an electrically conductive material, are formed inside the aforementioned through-holes, and are connected to the second conductor layer. The first external electrode, which comprises metal plating, is laid out on top of the first external-electrode electrode layer and on the side of the dielectric layer. The second external electrode, which comprises metal plating, is laid out on top of the second external-electrode electrode layer and on the side of the dielectric layer. |
