TEST METHOD AND SYSTEM OF ENFORCING LOW DENSITY ALARM OF GAS IN GAS INSULATED SWITCHARD

A method for testing low-density gas alarm in a gas insulated switchyard comprises the steps of: simulating the density of gas inside a gas density detector (13) to be lowered by heating the gas density detector (13) connected to a gas pipe (23) and a tank (11) of a gas insulated switchyard; and generating low-density alarm when the density of gas lowers to a preset value. The present invention has an advantage of preventing air contamination and reducing costs for environments since a test on low-density gas alarm can be conducted without discharging SF6 gas to the air.
