PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric parking brake system which can secure a brake load necessary for a vehicle stop even if a posture of a vehicle is changed.SOLUTION: An electric parking brake system 1 comprises an electric parking brake device 10, a brake load control part 71 which controls a brake load, and a vehicle posture change detection part 72 for detecting a change of a posture of a vehicle V. The brake load control part 71 performs first brake control for setting a first brake load which corresponds to the posture of the vehicle V when the brake of the electric parking brake device 10 is started as the brake load, and second brake control for setting a second brake load not smaller than the first brake load as the brake load when the brake is released, and after that the brake is braked by the electric parking brake device 10 in the case that the change of the posture when the vehicle V is braked by the first brake load is detected. |
