PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press roll device capable of suppressing temperature rise of a pair of press rolls and thermal expansion due to the temperature rise.SOLUTION: A press roll device 1 comprises a pair of press rolls 11, 12 arranged so as to face each other, and performs press work through a pressed processing material 2 between the pair of press rolls 11, 12. The press roll device 1 comprises: cooling means 20 for cooling the pressed processing material 2 arranged on an upstream of the pair of press rolls 11, 12; and temperature control means 30 for controlling temperature of the pressed processing material 2 by the cooling means 20 so that surface temperature of the pressed processing material 2 becomes a temperature lower than environmental temperature and higher than dew point temperature. |
