PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable measurement of a workpiece with high accuracy without interrupting the measurement even if a posture of an articulated arm mechanism changes and a base part supporting the articulated arm mechanism is inclined in measurement of the workpiece.SOLUTION: An arm type three-dimensional measuring machine 100 includes an articulated arm mechanism 104 having a probe 102 at a tip end, and a processing unit 122 for calculating a position of the probe 102. In a base part 120 supporting the articulated arm mechanism 104, an inclinometer 124 for detecting an inclination amount from a vertical direction of the base part 120 is provided. The processing unit 122 calculates the position of the probe 102 with reference to the base part 120 and, on the basis of an output from the inclinometer 124, corrects the position of the probe 102 with reference to the base part 120 in a time series. |
