PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge capable of surely preventing the inflow of developer from a developer storage part to a development part in a peripheral part of the upper part of a communication port.SOLUTION: A cartridge 1 comprises: a toner storage part 5 storing toner; a development part 47 supporting a development roller 2; a communication port 44 communicating the development part 47 with the toner storage part 5; and a rotary member 51 moving to an open position for opening the communication port 44 and a closed position for closing the communication port 44. A top open and close part 55 located upper than a rotary shaft 53 of the rotary member 51 is made to contact with a protrusion wall 46 constituting a peripheral part above the communication port 44, with contact pressure larger than the contact pressure, against a continuous part 36D of a bottom wall 36 constituting a peripheral part below the communication port 44, of a bottom open and close part 54 located lower than the rotary shaft 53. |
