PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding roller in which paper feeding failure is hard to occur for a long period.SOLUTION: A paper feeding roller 1 includes a grained surface 21 equipped with a mountain part 211 and a valley part 212, containing an inwardly recessed hole part 213 at least at a bottom surface of the valley part 212. An arithmetical mean height Ra of the grained surface 21 is 3-50 μm, a diameter of the hole part 213 is 1-100 μm, and a percentage of an area occupied by the hole part 213 against an area of the valley part 212 is within a range of 1-25%. The paper feeding roller 1 can be properly used by being incorporated in a paper feeding device of an image formation device of electrophotograph method. |
