A dynamic caching method for a data storage system comprising: dynamically discriminating a writing mode for a data queue which needs to be written, and on the basis of the result of discrimination, directly writing to a storage medium data suited to being written directly, and as for data suited for being written after being cached, caching the data by a caching device and then writing the data to the storage medium. A dynamic caching system using the above method. The method and system significantly reduce the space requirements for caching, enable fault tolerance integration, and improve system performance. |
