The invention proposes a method for transmitting RLC status PDU in a communication device of a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity, wherein the system includes a first, a second base station and a user equipment, and the RLC is acknowledge mode and the user equipment does not support bearer splitting in uplink transmission, at first a first connection with the first base station and a second connection with the second base station are established respectively and the first and the second base station configure logical channels for the radio bearers of the user equipment transmitted on the first connection and the second connection; and then it is determined whether a logical channel with the same first logical channel identifier as a first logical channel allocated for a bearer of downlink transmission on the first connection is allocated for any of the radio bearers of the uplink transmission on the first connection or a logical channel with the same third logical channel identifier as a third logical channel allocated for a bearer of uplink transmission on the first connection is allocated for any of the radio bearers of the downlink transmission on the first connection: If yes, then the communication device transmits the RLC status PDU; If no, then the communication device transmits the RLC status PDU according to a predetermined rule. |
