A connection mechanism has: a shaft (31) which is rotatably supported, is rotated by the power of a drive section (36), and has a first hole extending through the shaft (31) in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction; a connection section (35) which is connected to one end of the shaft, transmits the power of the drive section to the shaft, and has a second through-hole extending through the connection section (35) in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction; a fastener (40) inserted into a communication hole to fasten the shaft and the connection section together, the communication hole being formed by causing the first hole and the second through-hole to communicate with each other; and a cover section for covering the communication hole so that the fastener having been inserted in the communication hole does not come out.
