PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device and an abnormality determination method therefor, capable of discriminating the existence/non-existence of an abnormality in a specific converter among multi-phase converters.SOLUTION: It is determined whether or not a difference between an output voltage (Vo) and a target voltage (Vt) is a predetermined threshold (Vth) or larger when a switch Sja is switched on/off as long as a time T1 in such a manner that the output voltage (Vo), supplied by a single unit of a converter CVj (j is a natural number of n or smaller) among n converters CV1, CV2, ..., CVn in parallel connection to a battery 4 and a load 5, comes to the target voltage (Vt). From the determination result, it is determined whether or not the converter CVj which on/off controls the switch Sja is abnormal. |
