PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing or repairing vibration damage in a stator core, and a dynamoelectric machine resulting from the method.SOLUTION: Embodiments of the disclosure include a method for reducing or repairing vibration-caused damage in a stator bar 22, 24, and a dynamoelectric machine resulting from the method. The method for reducing vibration-caused damage in a stator includes: applying a liquid based vibration-absorbing material, from the inside of a ventilation slot 34 of a stator core 10, onto a side-portion ripple spring 30A, 30B each being in contact with the stator bar and the stator core 10; and curing the liquid based vibration-absorbing material, where the cured vibration-absorbing material remains in contact with the side-portion ripple spring for absorbing stator vibrations. |
