PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent developer leakage and developer overflow while maintaining agitation effect of developer.SOLUTION: A developing device comprises: a developer carrier; a supply chamber for containing the developer to be supplied to the developer carrier; a recovery chamber for recovering the developer from the developer carrier; a first conveyance member disposed in the supply chamber for conveying the developer; a second conveyance member disposed in the recovery chamber for conveying the developer in the direction opposite to the conveyance direction of the first conveyance member; and a third conveyance member disposed in the recovery chamber for conveying the developer in the direction opposite to the conveyance direction of the second conveyance member. In the third conveyance member, the conveyability of the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the developer is lower than the conveyability of the upstream side. |
